Yoga Nidra with Dawn Loftin on Zoom!

December 9 & 23, 2024, January 13, 20, 27; February Feb 10, 17, 24; & March 10, 17, 24, 2025 (Zoom log-on at 6:50 pm; class begins at 7 pm EST)

Give yourself the gift of self-care. Experience a transcendent state that reveals the true nature of self and the universe- consciousness. Yoga Nidra allows you to access the sleep state while remaining conscious. While in the “state” of Yoga Nidra your ability to improve cognition and learning is enhanced. Reduction of stress and improved overall health and well-being is attained. On a deeper level, Yoga Nidra is a spiritual practice.

No experience necessary! You may practice on your yoga mat, in bed or on a chair; anywhere you can be completely comfortable so you won’t have to move during the practice.

Joint and Gland exercises will prepare the body to remain still. Modifications will be offered for those with limited mobility. A guided pranayama (breath control) will help to balance the mind.

Each month’s series of classes will focus on a specific healing to assist bringing students’ awareness to injury, illness, and/or sleep disturbances to enable a symptom relief image or sensation to be revealed. The 61 points technique will use blue light with mantra.

Each participant who would like for us to tailor our protocols to specifically meet their needs must complete an online intake form and pre/post-assessment. If you need assistance, contact us.


Dawn A. Loftin, B.S., M.A., C-IAYT, E-RYT®500, Level 1 ParaYoga® Certified Teacher, Certified ParaYoga® Nidra Teacher, YACEP®, C-IAYT, Ayurveda Yoga Specialist, Relax & Renew Trainer, completed her 500-Hour Training and her Clinical Yoga Therapy Training and Practicum with AUM hOMe Shala. Her initial studies to become a Certified Yoga Therapist began with the intension to learn more about anatomy, but during the clinical component, she discovered a calling to work with Parkinson’s Disease. Now Dawn is happy to share the blessings of ParaYoga® Nidra with the students and teachers at AUM hOMe Shala.


Classes are offered via Zoom. To participate, students must first set up a free Zoom Account. To do so, follow these simple directions:
1. Set up a free account by following this link.
2. Once you arrive at the Zoom website, click the link Plans & Pricing at the top of the page on the left side.
3. A drop-down menu will appear; click on Basic Personal Meeting Free.
4. Follow the prompts to set up your account. Once you let us know which class you wish to take, we will send you a Zoom invitation link to join the class. At the designated time, all you will have to do is click the link to connect to our Free Yoga Therapy Group Class.
