Bridge Program Requirement for 300/500 RYT Yoga Teachers
The Bridge Program is required for 300/500 RYT yoga teachers who have not completed our Yoga Therapy Foundation curriculum and wish to enroll in the Yoga Therapy Clinical Practicum. This program is essential for yoga teachers from any tradition aiming to become professional clinical yoga therapists.

Enrollment Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of personal practice
- 300/500-Hour training from a Yoga Alliance-registered school
- 1 year of teaching experience
- Transfer at least 60 hours of study
- Entry interview with Director and Head of Clinic
- Current Liability Policy (AUM hOMe Shala as Certificate Holder) and HIPAA Certification

All sessions are live via Zoom. If you’ve completed a similar course, an alternative workshop will be provided. Students must complete assessments and pre/post-course assignments. Expect 5-10 hours of Distance Learning per course.

Mentorship Component
The Bridge program requires seven (7) hours of mentoring, conducted in person, via Zoom, or by phone, at $100 per 60-minute session, paid directly to the mentor. These fees are in addition to the Bridge Program tuition.
Additional Requirements and Fees
- Bridge Program students must purchase a pair of CEAL Blue Scrubs and have our logo embroidered, as well as their name, or purchase a name tag separately. These are to be worn in clinic. Cost is variable according to the style you choose; average price with embroidery is $40. Students are responsible for purchasing their own scrubs. Students also have the option of purchasing a Shala t-shirt to wear in individual and group clinic ($35). Students are required to have a professional head shot taken wearing their scrubs, cost is variable.
- There are four required books for the course: The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and the Bhagavad Gita, both translated by Swami Satchididanda; Hatha Yoga Pradipika by Swami Muktibodhananda; and Michael J. Fox’s autobiography, Always Looking Up.
- The Bridge program requires seven (7) hours of mentoring, conducted in person, via Zoom, or by phone, at $100 per 60-minute session, paid directly to the mentor. These fees are in addition to the Bridge Program tuition.
- Students are required to have a Tummee app account, which costs approximately $10.95 per month.
- The HIPPA online course and test, costing around $30, are to be taken independently by Bridge students, allowing students to select their preferred course.
- Students are required to hold a current Liability Policy naming AUM Home Shala as a Certificate Holder. Policy costs vary between approximately $130-$180.
2024 Bridge Program Payment Information
AUM hOMe Shala offers various payment plans for the Bridge Program, all of which include service fees. Upon agreement in a signed contract, students will make an initial down payment followed by subsequent payments, due on the 1st of each month. In case of a declined or returned payment, students will incur a $50 service fee per failed transaction. Additionally, a $75 service fee is applicable if a payment is overdue by more than 48 hours. Should a payment remain overdue by more than 7 days, the student’s enrollment will be paused until the tuition payment is settled. The certificate of completion will not be issued until all tuition payments are received.

- 2-payment plan: (+$200 service fee). Terms for 2-payment plan are 50% to start ($5,450.00); balance of $5,450.00 due the 1st of the fourth month after course begins. There is a service fee of $200 included.
- 4-payment plan: (+$400 service fee). Terms for 4-payment plan are 1/4 down to start ($2,775.00); balance of $2,775.00 due the 1st of the third, sixth, and ninth month after class start. There is a service fee of $400 included.
- 6-payment plan: (+$600 service fee). Terms for 6-payment plan are 1/6 down to start ($1,885.00); with a balance of $1,885.00 due every other month after class start. There is a service fee of $600 included.

Payment Plans
- 2-payment plan: (+$200 service fee). Terms for 2-payment plan are 50% to start ($2,750.00); balance of $2,750.00 due the 1st of the fourth month after course begins.
- 4-payment plan: ($400 service fee). Terms for 4-payment plan are 25% to start ($1,425.00), with 3 additional payments of $1,425.00 due the 1st day of the third, sixth, and ninth month after course begins. There is a service fee of $400 included.
- 6-payment plan: ($600 service fee). Terms for 6-payment plan are $985.00 to start, with 5 additional payments of $985.00 to be paid on the first day of every other month after course start. There is a service fee of $600 included.
Application Fee: There is a $100 nonrefundable application fee, payable below.
Payment Plans: AUM hOMe Shala offers 2-payment and 4-payment plan options for the Bridge Program, with additional processing fees included. Students agree, in a signed contract, to make an initial down payment and a subsequent final payment or payments. For the 2-payment plan, 50% is due to start, with the balance due two months after the course begins. For the 4-payment plan, 25% is due to start, with following payments due on the first of the third, sixth, and ninth month after the course begins. Payment plans include a fee of $200 for the 2-payment plan, $400 for the 4-payment plan, and $600 for the 6-payment plan. In the event a payment is declined or returned, students will be charged a service fee of $50 for each failed transaction. If a payment is 5-days late, a $50 late payment will be applied. If a payment is beyond 10 days late then the student’s course work will be placed on hold until the full amount of the tuition payment is made.
Refunds: No refunds will be given once Bridge Program work has been started. Students have up to a year to complete the program.
Course requirements and schedules are subject to change, and additional fees may be incurred for books and materials. In the event of under-enrollment, we reserve the right to reschedule a program.
